You might have noticed that I stopped doing regular sales in the Suntrap shop. The last one I did was in early December. The reason is simple: I price my products fairly and so perpetual sale-ing doesn’t work for my business model. But! I just placed a big order of my Healer Balm making supplies: sunflower seed oil from an organic farm in the finger lakes region of New York, beeswax from a beloved Ithaca Farmer’s Market vendor - an old school beekeeper who doesn’t ship their bees around the country from season to season, and organic herbs from small farms in the northeast. The result will be big batches of The Healer Balm to keep us all going through the spring & summer seasons. In the meantime, I would love to balance out that big order and to do so, I’m going to have a little sale in my little shop. How’s that for transparency?

In addition to being a great skin care friend, The Healer Balm also gets reviews about being: a hair pomade, a chamois cream (shout out to the runners & cyclists), a first aid balm for cuts & scrapes, the perfect primer for lip color and make up, a chapstick to write home about. Truly all purpose. Women, men, and NBs love this balm. Maybe you will too? And if you do? Write me a review <333
Curious to learn more about the ingredients in The Healer Balm? I wrote extensively about them here: Calendula, Chamomile, Marshmallow, Plantain, Beeswax & Sunflower Seed Oil.
Can beauty be a spiritual practice?
I’ve been thinking about what it means to be motivated by beauty in a world that is apt to warp those words and diminish their meaning.
