


Sticking a note in your locker to say hi & share an unexpected hawthorn recipe as well a classic one. The hawthorn berries were gifted from my friend Jo and grown nearby on her farm, Meadowhawk. Over a decade ago Jo hired me in to be her market manager apprentice at Mill Creek Farm in West Philly but she’s been farming in western mass for the better part of the past decade and I just moved a few miles down the road from her. So good to have old friends in new places.
